More DreamScene goodness

I figured I should do up a nice little freebie for those users who:
- Visit my site
- Have Vista Ultimate
- Like anime
This probably extends to myself.. and maybe one other person, but what the hell. I’ve been hunting around my collection to see if there’s any particular HD anime with some slightly less lively scenes that would make a good animated backdrop. Sure, we’d all love to have the Galaxy Angel Rune OP sequence as our wallpaper, but all the goddamn time?
So, it occured to me that while I never liked Ergo Proxy all that much, it did have that particular awesome part in the first episode with the shotgun. So, after messing around with VirtualDub, VisualHub, and TMPGEnc, I finally created the following for your perusal. Now.. if you’ve just downloaded the DreamScene preview, then the MPEG file is all you need. Slap it in your videos directory, and set it as your wallpaper. If you enjoy using Stardock proprietary formats, then I’ve included a .dream file for you to access as well.. and if you think I’m a worthless faggot and can’t encode for shit, I’ve also got a copy of the H.264 clip I used to create the following below.
Ergo Proxy (720p MPEG) - Only 785KB!
Ergo Proxy (720p Stardock DreamScape File) - Only 850KB!
Ergo Proxy (Original 720p H264 clip, if you feel my encoding skills suck) - Only 455KB!
This probably breaks all manner of copyright laws, and no doubt Geneon will be on my ass for illegally distributing three or so seconds of their precious animation, but I’ll try keep it here as long as possible. Download as quick as you can!
